Coverage & Service

The EZF F68 connects over supported cellular networks. Both radios need coverage where they are used; they can communicate over long distances without staying within direct radio range of each other.

Lifetime Service Included

No monthly or annual recurring service fee for the included radio service. SIM and device eligibility rules apply.

Coverage depends on where each radio is used

The EZF F68 from EZF Radio is a 4G LTE Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radio. It carries voice through supported cellular networks, rather than directly from one handheld radio to another.

Distance between radios is not the deciding factor. Both users need supported cellular coverage and available service. A nearby radio can still be unable to communicate if it has no supported connection.

Buildings, terrain and changing network conditions can affect connectivity. Communication also depends on network availability, carrier infrastructure, and device condition and configuration. Coverage and communication are not guaranteed in every location or at every time.

What Lifetime Service Included means

For an eligible EZF F68, there is no monthly or annual recurring service fee for the included radio service. An EZF-provided SIM is already included in the radio.

Eligibility follows that SIM, used with its originally associated EZF device or an EZF-approved replacement device. Normal use, long-term ownership and normal resale do not by themselves end eligibility.

Some SIM replacements may involve a reasonable one-time replacement or handling cost, disclosed in advance. This can apply to loss, user-caused damage, or unauthorized use or modification. It is not a recurring service fee.

If underlying networks or technology materially change, EZF will make reasonable efforts, where commercially reasonable and technically feasible, to maintain or migrate eligible included service.

The answers below explain SIM and device replacement, compatibility and service rules. This summary does not reduce the rights provided in our Terms of Service.

Coverage & service questions

Does the F68 have a distance limit?

The F68 does not require users to stay within direct radio range of each other. Long-distance communication uses supported cellular networks, so both radios need supported coverage and available service. Distance alone does not determine whether a call can connect.

Does each radio need a SIM and service?

Yes. Each F68 needs its EZF-provided SIM and eligible radio service, plus supported cellular coverage. The SIM is already included. Eligible included radio service has no monthly or annual recurring service fee.

Can I sell or transfer my F68 to another owner?

Yes. Normal resale or ownership transfer does not by itself end Lifetime Service eligibility. The eligible EZF SIM must remain with its originally associated device or an EZF-approved replacement device. Eligibility does not depend on the original purchaser's identity.

What happens if the SIM fails or needs replacement?

If a SIM fails through normal use and EZF determines that replacement is needed, the EZF replacement SIM continues the original Lifetime Service eligibility. For loss, user-caused damage, or unauthorized use or modification, EZF may charge a reasonable one-time replacement SIM or handling cost, disclosed before replacement. That cost is not a recurring service fee.

What happens if my radio is replaced?

If EZF replaces an eligible radio because of a confirmed product quality issue, the replacement device and any EZF replacement SIM continue the original Lifetime Service eligibility. If you separately buy another radio after loss, user-caused damage or for another reason, the new purchase's service policy applies. The earlier device or SIM's eligibility does not automatically transfer to that separately purchased radio.

Can I put my EZF SIM in another device?

Use it only with its originally associated EZF device or an EZF-approved replacement. EZF does not promise compatibility or continued service in third-party devices, unapproved devices or unauthorized configurations.

EZF may reasonably restrict, suspend or terminate service for unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, network-threatening or seriously abusive use. Normal use, long-term ownership and normal resale are not reasons to end eligibility. Restrictions do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

What happens if cellular networks or 4G technology change?

Lifetime Service does not mean a particular carrier, network or wireless technology will exist permanently. If these materially change, EZF will make reasonable efforts, where commercially reasonable and technically feasible, to maintain or migrate eligible included service. It does not promise permanent compatibility with every future wireless technology or a blanket entitlement to free hardware upgrades. This does not change the replacement eligibility described above.

Can I use the F68 outside the United States?

EZF currently sells for the U.S. market. International service availability has not been confirmed. Contact EZF before purchasing for use outside the United States; do not assume your destination is supported.
